This is What We Believe:
God
We believe in one eternally existent, infinite God. He is the Sovereign Creator and Sustainer of the universe revealed to us as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus
We believe that Jesus is eternally one with the Father. He became incarnate by the Holy Spirit and was born of the Virgin Mary. He was fully God and fully human.
Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is ever present and efficiently active in and with the body of believers. He bears witness to the new birth and the entire sanctification of believers.
Scripture
We believe that the Old and New Testament scriptures, given by divine inspiration, reveal the will of God and contain all truth necessary for salvation and Christian living.
Sin
We believe that following the original sin in the Garden of Eden all are born with a fallen nature, and are therefore inclined to evil. Personal sin is a voluntary rebellion against the law and will of God.
Salvation
We believe that the death of Jesus on the Cross made a full atonement for all human sin, so we may be unified with God for eternity. Whoever repents and believes in Jesus’ sacrifice will be forgiven of their sin.
Baptism
We believe that baptism is a sacrament signifying a new birth of a believer through Jesus’ death and resurrection. It is a declaration of ones faith in Jesus with the purpose of holiness and righteous living.
Holy Living
We believe that God works through the Holy Spirit to transform believers into the likeness of Christ. Through obedience to the Spirit, believers grow in grace and love to God and neighbor.
The Church
We believe the Church is the collective body of believers. The Spirit unifies the Church through worship, preaching, sacraments, and service in its mission is to share the redemptive power of Christ.
Divine Healing
We believe in the Bible doctrine of divine healing. We urge believers to offer prayers of faith for the healing of the sick. We believe God can work through miraculous healing and means of medical science.
Communion
We believe practicing the Lord’s Supper together as a community of believers signifies the new covenant between God and his people. The bread and juice represent the body and blood of Christ.
Second Coming
We believe that the Lord will return and the dead will be raised for the final judgement. Believers are cleansed by the blood of Jesus to be united with God for eternity. The unrepentant will be eternally separated from God in hell.
